Mission

Our mission is to “Grow New and Stronger Followers of Jesus.”

We believe Jesus has already articulated the mission of God’s church in the Bible: He said that we need to grow strong followers: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: love your neighbor as yourself." —Matthew 22:37-39 NIV

Jesus also said that we need to reach out beyond the existing group of believers to grow new followers: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." —Matthew 28:19-20 NIV More . . .

Ministry Involvement Strategy

We seek to do more than simply involve people. We want to involve them in the right things that will help them and their families grow stronger in faith.

Everyone who is involved with The Orchard is challenged to participate in a balanced journey of faith that will help them grow spiritually, stay in touch with other Orchard folks, and help The Orchard accomplish her mission. We call it Worship+2!
